Two bullies, Josh and Sam decide the beach is theirs and start picking on the smaller children. Assisted by Skippy, Jeny and Lou get the better of the bullies until Josh calls on his big brother for help. For a while the surfers believe that Skippy is the one who has been menacing the children and are going to report her to the police. Kate's brother, Simon, is able to get both the attention and respect of the surfers by riding the biggest wave of the year, and once they listen to him he is able to show them what really happened.
